Few tourists visit the majority of Antalya sights including Aspendos in winter. Generally, people come here by their own cars.
Many things have changed since the last visit Aspendos in July, 2014. The amphitheater has been renovated and it looks more attractive. Despite the fact that there are still renovation works going on, many destroyed seats are changed and the fortification columns are strengthened. It is possible that the amphitheatre in Aspendos will host concerts and performances next year.
There are many objects to discover in Aspendos besides the amphitheater. You should follow a narrow path and come up to the hill located behind the amphitheatre. There is a Basilica which was a court and a chamber of trade at the same time, Agora ( a trade, social and political center of the city), Nymph (a monumental recourse), Exedra ( a conference-hall where speakers and sophists presented their speeches), Aqueduct (Roman water channel). All these objected are well preserved, they look amazing and they are considered to be among the perfectly remained ancient objects along the Antalya coastline.
